Explorers Club x Seeds of Wild Experiences: End of Year Adventure – Hike & Social Recap
To close out 2024 in true style, Explorers Club and Seeds of Wild Experiences teamed up for an unforgettable day of connection, nature, movement, and celebration. On Saturday 14th December, we hosted our final event of the year: a scenic hike through New Forest followed by an evening social in Barbican, London.

🌲 The Hike – Brockenhurst & the Tall Trees Trail
Our adventure began bright and early, as our group gathered outside the Apollo Theatre near Victoria Station to board a private coach. With snacks packed and layers on, we headed south to Hampshire to explore the Brockenhurst and the Tall Trees Trail, a peaceful 13km circular route rich with towering pines, ancient oaks, and woodland wildlife.

We kicked off around 11:30 am, with a steady pace on mostly flat ground, ideal for both first-timers and regular hikers. With the mist rising through the trees and the soft crunch of leaves underfoot, the walk offered space to reflect, connect, and enjoy nature with a vibrant community.

🧢 What We Packed
Participants came prepared with lunch, snacks, plenty of water, and care packs loaded with hiking essentials—thanks to our detailed prep guide. With proper boots, warm layers, waterproofs, and a great spirit, the group kept cosy and energised throughout the trail. A huge thank you to everyone who followed our no-nuts-on-the-coach policy and held off on drinks until after the hike!

🍸 The Social – Celebrating in Barbican
After a full day of movement and forest magic, we returned to 41B Charterhouse Square, EC1M 6EA for our End of Year Social—a joyful celebration that brought together friends of both communities.

From 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm, the space buzzed with energy. Guests enjoyed welcome drinks, meaningful conversation guided by connection cards, and back-to-back DJ sets that turned the evening into a proper vibe. With cosy lighting and a buzzing crowd of familiar faces and new connections, it was the perfect way to wind down 2024.

We offered flexible ticketing—whether you wanted the full day experience or just to join for the social. By arranging coach travel, we made the hike more accessible and budget-friendly, and ensured everyone could focus on enjoying the day without stress.
